My dad is in Southern California Elders' Choir.
They travel all around to praise God with their voices.
They decided to go to New York and sing at Carnegie Hall
in Midtown Manhattan in New York City.
How exciting!
My parents were told to bring their own sandwiches to eat on the airplane
because the flight is not long enough to provide them with meals.
I made sandwiches for my folks.
Toasted wheat bread, sliced smoked ham, pepper jack cheese,
the crunch parts of the lettuce that have been thoroughly washed
and completely dried, and spicy-tangy mustard
No processed meat or mayo since they are not healthy.
Nothing that will make the sandwiches soggy since my parents will eat them later on the palne.
I made some extra, so my parents can share their sandwiches
with other elders and their wives who forget to bring their own.
with lots of love and sweet messages!
Mom called me this afternoon when she got off the plane and told me
that she really liked my messages on their sandwich bags.
kkk ;p
God, let all the members glorify Your name
with their talents to their fullest capacity.
Please keep each and every one them healthy
since the weather there is
very different from CA and really cold.
Watch them every second,
so they all can come back home safely.
In the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, I pray.
Amen.
