My Precious Daughters

I'm writing this entry not to show off, but to share.

There might be some people who are thinking that I've had three daughters out of wedlock.
No!
I'm sponsoring three girls from Ghana through WorldVision.
And I call them my daughters.
I tell myself that I've adopted them as my daughters.
The reason I've chosen these three girls from the same country is to go and visit them in the future and embrace them and say that I love them as my daughters.

Two people eat dinner one night and pay more than $30 easily.
You buy coffee that is almost $4 everyday or every other day that adds up to $30 at a blink.
You try online-dating and pay membership fee that is more or less than $30 like as if it is nothing.

What about sponsoring a child who is praying so sincerely that someone will decide to give them $30 every month
to give them the food to eat,
so s/he won't starve and cry him/herself to sleep
and
give them the clean water to drink,
so s/he won't get "dirty-water" diseases.

I wish I could sponsor all the children in a whole village,
but I can't do it myself.

I need your help.
We can sponsor all the children in a whole village when each and everyone of us prayerfully makes a commitment to sponsor a child.
Wouldn't it be awesome if we all can go to the villages where our sponsored kids are from, have a feast together, and celebrate the joy of giving and receiving the gift of God!

This is Yuyeutaal Bitandam.
She is my first daughter.
I've adopted Yuyeutaal for my sister Joy's birthday.

Yuyeutaal's birthday is the same as Joy's, July 11th,
but Joy was born in 1980 and Yuyeutaal was born in year 2000.

This is Naomi Asantoa.
She is my second daughter.
I just couldn't take my eyes off of
Naomi's kind eyes and her shy smile.

Naomi's birthday is October 28, 2000. This is Bifungma Liyil.
She is my third daughter.
Bifungma has the same birthday as mine-February 2nd!
Bifungma was born in 2001.

I love my daughters.
I praise God that I'm able to sponsor three girls for now.
I would like to sponsor some boys if I'm financially able to do so.
What a previliage it is to share the love of God in such a meaningful way!

Would you decide to sponsor a child today?
For your familiy member's birthday?
Your birthday?
Anniversary?
Any special occasion?
Would you be willing to give up that Coach or Luis Vuitton Bag and feed a hungry child for
a year for $360,
two years for $720,
three years for $1,080,
or many blessed years?
Would you save a dollar a day and put a smile on a child who is crying for help?

Deuteronomy 15:7
"If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the LORD your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother."

Isaiah 41:17
"The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them."

1 John 3:17-18
"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
