These are Southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora). They are known for their distinctive, clean, and citrus fragrance.
I like flowers in general, but I like magnolia the best.There are many different kinds of magnolia. I heard that there are about 80 species of magnolia trees and large shrubs. I like the ones that are big and plump, which have thick and rounded petals. I like the pink/purple magnolia better than the white ones, but it's really hard to find the plump pink/purple magnolia. I see the skinny purple magnolia along the streets often, but not the plump ones. I wonder if I can get the plump white magnolia for my wedding! ;D
